Last week the BCDT went on a little road trip to… well Beith. We took a run down to Beith’s very own Transport Collection. Located on the outskirts of Beith, Michael Roulston runs his business Supplies For Industry. However, also hidden within the massive buildings are some great treasures.
We had such a great time playing on the sports cars, and starting up 60 year old buses.
The Beith Transport Collection has a large collection of vehicles ranging from buses, trucks and cars to trams and horse drawn vehicles. Unfortunately North Ayrshire council have closed the facility to public at present, but lets all hope that one day the doors can be opened once again to these wonderful vehicles.
