Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums Providing Free traditional Scottish music tuition to children across the Garnock Valley

Introducing Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums – a vibrant community group dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich tradition of Scottish piping and drumming across the Garnock Valley and beyond. At Beith Trust, we recognise the importance of keeping this cultural heritage alive, providing opportunities for people of all ages to learn, play, and perform in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Developed and supported by Beith Community Development Trust, Garnock Valley Pipes and Drums offers free tuition, access to instruments, and performance opportunities for anyone keen to learn. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced musician, our group is open to all who share a passion for Scottish music.
Beyond music, the project creates opportunities for skill development, teamwork, and community engagement. We offer various volunteering roles, accredited training, and support for those looking to get involved in teaching, event planning, or community outreach.
If you’d like to join us, volunteer, or support the band, get in touch today! Visit our Facebook page to see what we’ve been up to or email us at enquiries@beithtrust.org.
