About Lend an Ear
Lend an Ear, supported by Beith Trust, is a community-driven befriending service offering a safe and friendly space for people who need someone to talk to. Whether you’re feeling lonely, struggling with life’s challenges, or just in need of a chat, our compassionate volunteers are here to listen and provide support. We believe that no one should feel alone, and sometimes, a simple conversation can make all the difference.
As part of our service, we host monthly afternoon teas, creating a warm and welcoming environment where people can connect over a cup of tea and sweet treats. These gatherings sometimes have fun themes, adding a bit of joy and laughter to the day. It’s a chance to relax, share stories, and make new friendships in a supportive space.
We’re always looking for volunteer befrienders to join our team. If you have a kind heart, a listening ear, and a little time to spare, you could make a real difference in someone’s life.
