The Beith Hive
Beith Hive is Beith Trust’s wholly owned childcare social enterprise, created to meet the childcare needs of families across Beith and the Garnock Valley. As part of the wider Beith Trust family, Beith Hive combines high-quality childcare, play and outdoor experiences with Beith Trust’s wider commitment to community-led regeneration. Our commitment to childcare is rooted in the belief that strong families, confident children and reliable local services are essential to a thriving community
Vision
To help make the Garnock Valley the best place to grow up
We want every child to have access to exceptional childcare, joyful play and inspiring outdoor experiences close to home. We want every family to feel supported, connected and able to thrive. And we want Beith Hive to play a leading role in building a community where children are safe, confident and full of possibility.
Mission
Beith Hive provides high-quality childcare and play that helps children flourish and families thrive
As a Beith Trust social enterprise, we exist to meet real local need with provision that is reliable, nurturing, affordable and ambitious. We create safe places where children can play, learn, build confidence and develop strong relationships. We work with families, schools and partners to widen access, reduce barriers and make the most of the community-owned spaces around us. We are not just here to provide childcare; we are here to help shape a stronger, healthier and more hopeful Garnock Valley for the next generation.
Our Values
Ambitious for every child
We believe children in the Garnock Valley deserve more than basic provision. They deserve high expectations, rich experiences and the best possible start in life.
Safe, nurturing and trusted
We create caring environments where children feel secure, welcomed and valued, and where families know they can depend on us.
Play-led and child-centred
We believe children learn best through play, curiosity, creativity and exploration. We listen to children and shape experiences around their interests, voices and potential.
Inclusive by design
We work to remove barriers and widen access so that more children and families can benefit, whatever their background, circumstances or support needs.
Rooted in nature and place
We believe outdoor play matters. We use local spaces and natural environments to help children build confidence, resilience, wellbeing and connection to the world around them.
Powered by community
We are part of something bigger than childcare. We build partnerships, grow local skills and use community-owned assets to create lasting benefit for children, families and the Garnock Valley.
